Under this contract, a major portion of the existing 5kV underground distribution system was replaced. The installation included new 5kV duplex switches, sectionalizing cabinets, and switchgear. A new distribution system of 5kV manholes, duct banks, and cables was installed across the campus affording the owner new switching and isolation options. New 5kV cables were installed to both the new and existing downstream transformers.
