Mr. Webb founded Webb Electric Company in 1957 and it was incorporated in 1965. Mr. Webb began the company doing small jobs as a residential and commercial contractor. In 1966, Webb Electric Company did a sample project for a major computer data company that consisted of installing telephone cabling in a US Post Office. When the project was complete, the computer data company was so impressed with the quality of work that Webb Electric Company was offered an on-going contract, installing data cabling at US Post Offices at many major US cities. That contract gave Webb Electric Company the experience and logistics knowledge needed to perform electrical installations at military bases around the country. Since then, Webb Electric Company has completed over 1,000 federal projects, including in Alaska, Hawaii, Guantanamo Bay, other parts of Cuba, and Bermuda. Webb Electric Company's work also extends to commercial projects close to home, such as The University of West Florida. Webb Electric Company has held the maintenance contract for this university for over five years.
Webb Electric Company of Florida, Inc. has an outstanding reputation with the US government as well as commercial companies. Mr. Webb’s work ethic, integrity, and honesty have made the company what it is today.
