This project involved the replacement of four out of five of the pad-mounted transformers serving building 37. Building 37 is a highly secured building area and performs a critical mission for the Department of Veterans Affairs in the Midwest. During the outages, when the old transformers were removed and the new ones brought on line, Webb Electric Company provided temporary power to keep the building on line. New secondary service entrances were installed from the new pad-mounted transformers to the main secondary switchboards inside the building. A new security fence was installed around the pad-mounted transformers.
